Here is a shot of Conrail C40-8W 6198. Sounds pretty basic, eh? This shot was taken in Orangeburg, NY of the train at night, so all you see is are headlights, numberboards, and reflective "Conrail Quality" slogans. This shot won first prize in the Night Photography category of the Bergen-Rockland Chapter NRHS Photo Contest in 1995.

In Newburgh, New York, Conrail SD50 6749 leads a train southbound to Oak Island Yard in Newark, New Jersey.

Once the train clears the siding, LMS C40-8W 711 leads a northbound train to Selkirk Yard near Albany, New York.
